Shocking, unforgettable Pro-Life film-”It’s The Same Thing”
This was a video we produced for a non-profit organization called: Its the same thing. It is a pro-life organization and this video is extremely powerful. The hopes is to change lives and provoke thought in this whole misunderstood process of abortion.

Ashtyn and Ryan’s Love Story in Savannah, Georgia
This is a love story/short film of a cute little couple from Lafayette, Indiana who drove to beautiful Savannah, Georgia for their wedding. While they were here we took them to downtown Savannah a produced a lovely story about the love. That night we went back to downtown Savannah on River street expecting to see fireworks and Savannah decided it was too cold. So I gave them fireworks anyway.

Anyway I mentioned I would be posting additional video regarding this wedding.
What I have today is a reception highlight that I edited that tells the wonderful story of Lissa and Chris’s reception. This video really sets the tone of the reception and by this video alone anyone can clearly see how exciting this reception was.
The band they had was phenomenal. They had Bobby and the Aristocats from Atlanta, Georgia. The way they interacted with the guests and Chris and Lissa. They actually got Grandma on stage. That was and incredible moment. For that one moment alone was worth having video.
Let me set the stage for you. The band is about to break and they notice grandma having a wonderful time so Bobby invites her on stage and continues the song, eloquently adding his own lyrics to meet the mood and the action on stage, making grandma feel, for that moment, like she was the star. Can you imagine missing a moment like that, not having that on video?
OK let me quit the preaching and mention this wedding was a lot of fun to document and their family and friends were all so wonderful. I have a few more weddings booked on Saint Simons Island, Georgia for 2009 and I can’t wait. Coastal Wedding Films is located in Bluffton, South Carolina and we shoot a lot of Hilton Head Wedding Videos but we love to travel and Saint Simons Island, Georgia is a favorite now.
OK so now for the video you have been waiting for.

Hilton Head Wedding Story With Interviews (vid 1)
In a hilton head wedding video we specialize in telling your story in a creative and accurate way. One way we do this is through interviews. I know some may frown at interviews but I can assure you we do not interrupt your guests in any way and stick a mic in their faces and tell them to say something. We take a documentary style approach.
The videos we produce for you will hold your memories and cherished moments that will cause you to feel you as if you were there again.
Why is a wedding video valuable?
Posted in Coastal Wedding Films, wedding video, weddings with tags brent nelsen, Coastal Wedding Films, hilton head wedding video, video production on October 16, 2008 by hdvideoSo what does make a wedding video valuable? Is a wedding video even considered valuable?
Well the answer to the second question is NO. How can I say that? The official Creator of our famous hilton head wedding videos. Well I say NO, not because of what I think but because of the order we fall under on the vendors list. The wedding videographer is almost always the last vendor a Bride hires. If there is money left over, they think about video.
This is beginning to change though. As brides become more aware of high quality, artistic, cinematic, and truly documentary style wedding videos that look like they were produced in Hollywood. The kind of videos Coastal Wedding Films produce.
The answer to the first question is really where the meat to this post lies.
Its the Story! “The Story”, you say.
Everyone has a story. Short, long, sad, happy, exciting, etc. We all have different experiences in our life that create our story. And our stories are made up of our memories and our memories are what defines who we are. So by every moment in our life we choose not to document, a piece of our story dies. Think about during the colonial days. Would we know who George Washington was if his life was not documented? How cool would it be to see a video of the first inauguration?
How cool would it be to see, hear, and experience the wedding celebration of your Great, Great, Grandparents? Now you see what I am talking about.
If Brides are keeping video at the bottom of the vendors list it is only because they have scene a “Professional Video” that looked horrible or heard a horror story from a friend. They are not thinking about why it is valuable. I have had friends tell me there video is terrible but they are glad they at least have that.
So don’t fade away with your memories. Pass them on with the rest of your legacy!

Wetherington_Aldea Highlight video
This is a highlight video of a couple I shot back in June of this year. The interesting thing about the bride is I met her 16 years ago when I moved to Hilton Head. She was still in High School and her Uncle lived next door to me. When she would come to visit I remember playing basketball with her outside.
This was a very touching wedding. You can tell they are a very close family. As you will notice in the video all the sentimental things that were recorded and mentioned by family members.
Because of where we live, most of the Hilton head wedding videos I produce here are from clients that live elsewhere. It was nice to work with the family locally.
Actually this wedding was filmed in Bluffton mainly because the guest list was Hugh and First Baptist Church in bluffton was the only Protestant church that could hold them all.
It was also great to see the true love for Christ these family and friends have. This wedding was a real blessing to document.
Another point I would like to make and I will also make this point in a future post as well, and that is the VO you hear through out adds so much to this couples story. In another post I will have a video with and with out the VO and BOY, you can really tell a difference in the message.

I have not written in a while and I apologize to all my readers. The good news is I have been extremely busy in all aspects of my business. I been doing probably as much commercial work as weddings. I really like both so I am not complaining.
I know many people know me as producing Hilton Head wedding videos but I have really worked all over the country. What I have to show you today is a video I shot on Fripp Island. A friend of mine put it together but the footage was shot by me. It was during the shoot for the golf show pilot many of you know about. If you don’t, than that is a post for another time.
Here is the video i would like you to look at.
